The First Day of 2nd Grade

Check out the fancy new FWISD school uniform requirements. Tristin is excited to see all his friends again. And this year he gets to change classes for art, music, and social studies. Also, he attends PE twice a week with his new "coach."

Six Flags

We enjoyed a cool August day at Six Flags Over Texas. Tristin's first ever roller coaster was the Titan, but his favorite was the Shock Wave. He did really well for his first trip.

A weekend at the deer lease...

Safety first... Tristin got to shoot Papa Benoit's .22 rifle for the first time. He had fun and even hit the target. It was a large target.

Trampoline Fun

Melissa'a New Vehicle...

We're really excited about Melissa's new car. She was scared to drive it home and wouldn't pull in the garage for the first three days without me watching to keep her from knocking the mirrors off. She's a pro now and won't let me drive it.

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Playa del Carmen. It was very relaxing. We didn't really leave the resort the whole time... just one short trip to the market across the street for maracas. We had to bring them back for the kids. You can never have too many maracas. And Melissa suggested we have the boys pictures laminated for the next trip. Therefore, we could show them to EVERYBODY at the pool and not worry about getting them wet.

Melissa was first in line to dance with the Mexican cross dressers.
